When I hear marketing speech, my brain shuts off and stops processing what I'm hearing or reading. Alternatively I just get annoyed and have an insatiable urge to leave or make it stop.
This actually happened here on KVR with a member who was selling something legitimately, (the post is probably still there) but I literally couldn't figure out what he was selling (due to the above disability). Turns out that he was in marketing as his day job and it bled over into his sales pitch for what he was selling. Turns out he was a nice guy and I got the straight dope from him, so it ended happily ever after.
In this case, though, I didn't switch off. I actually read the whole thing and was quite entertained. Personally I think you're crazy for dropping that much dough on gear in a year, but I didn't get any "used car salesman vibes". And while there is certainly some hyperbole, I felt it was more for dramatic effect and not intended to mislead (but I could be wrong).
I don't work in "marketing" (though give my disability, that would be hilarious.. I wouldn't be able to proofread my own copy!), but I work in related fields (web application development) and I'd say it might be nice to have a "stats" section in a sidebar and a header explaining that all the text is the "making of" or "behind the scenes" creative process that lead to the samples. Also, your color scheme could use some work, plain red, white, plain blue, black, sky blue combined with a very narrow 520px space for text and 720x space for the entire content section is very inefficient and not pleasing to the eye, its also just plain silly for any screen resolution above 800x600.
I listened to the demos, I think you need more demos, both "raw" (using only your samples) as well as full tracks using them, in more genres.
The free sample pack is nice, for myself I really like the samples with the Hrd prefix (I like it hard..), how many of those samples are included?
I'm about 33mm from buying this actually.
