The impulse responses are rendered taking the distance dependent attenuation into account (p(r) = p0 / r) as well as the propagation delay (tau(r) = r / c). For a distance r = 16m this results in a propagation delay of round about 50ms. If this impulse response is used for a reverb effect for a musical instrument, then real-time playing becomes almost impossible due to the long latency. To make it usable for musical instruments, I simply cut away the initial zeros of the impulse responses (the same amount of samples for all impulse responses of a preset to preserve sample accuracy).gts wrote:I just wanted to ask about your presets.
