Any indication of a release date? (not that I'm too fussed, it won't influence the sound at all... or will it??
Early look at the GUI

Wow, that looks HEAPS better! As for the indicator rings... I think it's great to be able to see an indication for 2 mod sources... in fact, have you used it at all, cause it does help one keep one's bearings in such a complicated synth!

Awesome, now the GUI looks fantastic in every sense.kv331 wrote:EDIT: There WAS a bug in the rendering code for this one. Instead of loading numbers unsigned I loaded them signedVenomeza wrote:The new GUI is slick, however, there seems to be a huge amount of aliasing in the majority of knobs:
Is there a way to make them look like this?

Here's how the fixed version looks:
As good as it gets. What do you guys think?
Btw, when are you going to release the new build?

current screenshot of the GUI with many of the changes & corrections that I've made. Changes that I've made are the plug is a bit smaller, I've added a great deal of color due to requests, I hope that it is of a benefit, I've changed the knobs so the modulation menus are very close the knobs.

Moving the knobs closer to the readouts is a good idea but slicing off the lower part of the knob is not, to me that doesn't look "right".
Otherwise this is a very nice gui, good work
Btw. the presetbrowser is not finished yet or is it?
It needs much improvements in readability, atleast for me the text is too small and too bright.

...funny enough, doesn't really bug me at all (the chopped off grey part... kinda ends the mod amount indicators in a striking way).
I'll just want to see how the knobs react in build 29. For me they've always been really... jumpy? Unpredictable. They seem way too sensitive. Anyone else had that problem? I guess it's mostly because of the "drag in a circle" in stead of a "click on and drag up or down" scheme that these knobs have.
Mind you, I have seen the benefits of that when working in additive with HEAPS of OSCs that need detuning

Hlis93, my compliments, this skin has improved

Does not bug me eitherKaaswros wrote:...funny enough, doesn't really bug me at all (the chopped off grey part... kinda ends the mod amount indicators in a striking way).
if you click in the center of the button then you can "click on and drag up or down"Kaaswros wrote:I'll just want to see how the knobs react in build 29. For me they've always been really... jumpy? The knobs' drag-up circle needs to be a bit bigger. Even if I want to drag up, it ends up changing the parameter wrong.

Fantastic changes ... loving the new Volume and Tune readout
[please don't loose time on this one (just an idea)]
wouldn't it be possible to have left mouse button for drag, and right for jumping to new value?

+1 but I'm the kind who could live with only dragging the knobs.rectus_dominus wrote:The knobs' drag-up circle needs to be a bit bigger. Even if I want to drag up, it ends up changing the parameter wrong.

I prefer the "outties"Kaaswros wrote:Just also noticed that the knobs have changed from "innies" to "outties". Not a biggy, but I liked the "innies" more
