Hello,
I have got a question for Cubase VST users, using Dash Signature's Eve.
I did run into a strange Cubase error, which I never had before. I have installed Eve in my Cubase VST 5.0 under Win98SE. After approx. 10 minutes, Cubase generated an error message, referring to the log file (see below). Cubase kept playing a recorded midi file through Eve in the loop modus where I put it in to try some Eve settings in the meantime, but when I stopped playing and wanted to restart playing, there was no sound coming from Eve anymore. Together with Eve, Muon Software's SR202 drum sampler was playing, which normally never generates errors or problems. I had to restart Cubase to get everything playing again.
Can anyone tell me what the source and solution of this problem is?

Ok, just to be sure, that's still the demo single-output version correct? The multi-out works right?
One thing, which Sound-Card you have, and what is your processor type and speed?
We have some users running with the same config without problems, so it must be something elsewhere. But we will try to help you out.

Yes, we spoke on the e-mail. Funny thing is that I can not recall the error again, although I installed and ran the Eve (single out) demo twice yesterday.
My config is: P3 650 Mhz, 256 Mb RAM, STAudio Media 7.1 soundcard with Asio driver, Cubase VST32 v5, both running in 24 bit 96 kHz mode.
I also posted this in the Cubase and Computer Music forums. Depending on your answer and on the replies there might come from these forums, I will just go and order Eve. I can hardly refuse this $79 offer!

I would say that most errors are fixed by a clean reboot. Also, avoid running other programs along Cubase, that helps.
