I am curious to know if at this point urs is saying.. damn maybe 333 spaghetti weren't enough :-)..
this really sounds good. Already working on a lil jam with it...

of course they are the usual anal retentive stuff, like some patches sound off key, some descriptions have typos, some lil graphic glitches in large mood..... but all in all a fantastic piece of synth....someone said above they figured they would not be buying anymore software synths for awhile cause they had enough.. I felt the same way, till I tried the demo...
Really great stuff.....cpu heavy on some patches but I just avoid them or use them very sparingly.... but the sound? mmmmmmm mmmmmm great.

hi zvenx

to save cpu i set the quality to standard/good.also some of the presets have drift etc applied and meant to be a bit off key :)
typo errors? hmm i never did like school :-o anyway we're still polishing a few things up but all is going well.

cheers

Does Ace it's own official thread? If not please make one and post the download links and the promotional coupon.

BTW this synth is completely mindblowing. Crystal clear oscillators and incredibly punchy envelopes. This is truly a step forward in the softinstrument arena.

There was a promotional coupon? Oh well, missed that...

preset Rob Lee - Fat Squares

when i change from accurate or standard to draft, the sound changes significantly to a very unpleasant high hissie missie.

Very nice sounding synth, could be the best vsti for basses and leads, but only for new and very powerful puters in accurate mode.

Thank you Mr. Heckmann, once again..

hi

yes i had that hissie also whilst trying to save cpu on some of my presets by changing the quality.
some would only work ok like the one you mention in "accurate/good" mode.
standard and draft etc only work effectively for me on the pads etc and on my machine which is a Q6600 dated hehe.

not sure if any future version will be cpu friendly but im managing ok upto now.

cheers

No pressure, but my hand is hovering over my money (just been paid today...I hope).

Look out for "Spaghetti". This will be the promo code for the intro sale. It'll work 333 times - so there'll be plenty for x-mas. :D

found another minor bug:
if in any bank you choose the first preset and mark it as junk and say hide junk... it still shows.... if you mark any other preset in that bank as junk it works fine.
also, if you mark the first one as junk, you can't with the use of mouse click and load the last preset of that bank, you have to use the scroll arrows on the gui.
thanks
