This is nice to hear because then you probably won't be skimping on the Berlin Modular because of being shy with CPU.

Of course you also optimize your code as much as humanly possible - but if a special synth can only play one monophonic note on a modern consumer CPU core I'll take it, it's better than not having that exist at all.

I have to echo everyone else's opinions: fantastic sound, and a real CPU eater. Only played around a bit, but found the presets very inspirational.

Really pleased to get that coupon code, too; the exchange rate with Canadian dollars didn't match the American dollar price closely enough, but the coupon brought it in line. Share-it's a bit funny that way sometimes.

I'm not having any issues with high cpu.. Even with complex patches and pads, it's staying really low for me. Dual core AMD X2

Just bought it! Loving it. And not finding the cpu usage that bad either. Using it at standard is actually quite low cpu and sounds great!

A lovely little monster for gnarly basses!

But are not the presets a little on the hot side? It is very easy to go above 0db, especially with the polyphonic patches.
No biggie for me but maybe others.

Well, by luck I didn't missed the promo,
but I'm really fed up with wading through all these threads, hundreds of stickies and pages in this forum, so to not miss any news about any of Urs'
goodies.
A plain simple newsletter from time to time about new products, betas and Updates (!) would be much appreciated.

i think urs decided just to release it to you guys last night as a bit of treat as everyone was asking for it

i knew yesterday morning it was coming out when urs wanted the presets in a hurry hehe so he could prepare the release for you
