Give Plogue Bidule a try - I think the standalone version is free (or the plug-in, one or the other). It can host practically anything and gives you a load of modulation options and controller gadgets to boot.

Oops - just checked, the standalone is free during the pre-release period (which has lasted for years, however).

You didn't get a serial in the share*it receipt after payment? You should get it automatically..
