This might happen at some point, there are loads of possible updates to Uhbik (Runciter modes, Phaser modes, Reverb modes are those that come into my mind) but I first need some air to breathe and time to work on Uhbik-X.

Man, even without patching up any modular madness, this thing sounds great. Now if I could just get my head around the modular part...

I just string wires around until it sounds like whats in my head.

Unfortunately there's no "little voices" oscillator, but it does has bandpass filters and white noise I can use for formants and thunderous effects...
noise and beats: Negutyv Xeiro do people actually click these?
gearlust: Roland JP-8000, too much/not enough eurorack

Me too - my Kore template works well for this though as I have assigned knobs to all the wires so you can move cables from one place to another using one knob till you hit a sweet spot

Aha! Funny you say that!

I was just sitting here at work thinking about ACE and wondering whether then modulation sources where exposed to the host, as are Zebras. Zebras are in the form of drop down lists but can be mapped so I wondered if ACE was the same (a scrollable list behind the scenes shown graphically as cables rather than mod sources). And it sounds like it is! :D

Can't wait to make an automap template for this baby!

Yes it is!

But beware the updates... if a single output socket was added, all your automation would go rampant :hihi:

This synth is better than sex and chocolate AT THE SAME TIME. :)

I think I've died and gone to Valhalla...

Kind regards.

The sound is really, really stunning. Congrats to you, Urs!
Interface and programming comes in quiet easy on this and finally we have fast envelopes and punch, that's what I've missed so much in the DCAM stuff at the end ...
The CPU is ok for that quality level, price/performance is a no-brainer. Demo restriction noises are totally crap imho and a no-go.

A little annoying, but at least you can save the patches you make, so you will still have them if/when you buy. I am totally enthralled with this synth. Sound quality is amazing just as a plain vintage-style poly, and then you can get all mod-crazy on top of it.

Urs, I love your beta-pricing schemes by the way. The price you're currently asking for this cannot be beat! Thanks for another great product.
