Huh. Looks like Cakewalk is going even further. On their site, they're selling NI instrument downloads for $99, including Absynth 5, Massive, and FM8.
http://www.store.cakewalk.com/b2cus/cat ... egoryID=47
NI's site isn't doing this, though. I didn't even know these guys were in business with each other...

"Please note: You must already own SONAR 8.5 to purchase these products."
So it's only for Sonar 8.5 owners. Still, good news for them!

Man, I'd swear that part wasn't on the page last night.sonkeysankey wrote:"Please note: You must already own SONAR 8.5 to purchase these products."

On the other hand, I did have a couple of bourbon and cokes earlier in the evening...
At least coil, in the BF thread, picked up that NI has jumped on the bandwagon, even adding Reaktor to the $99 deal, so I don't feel like a complete tool. Again.

Reaktor 5 is sufficient to buy Komplete 6 as a $299 upgrade. So that's $398 for Komplete 6 instead of $499. Add coupons and whatnot and you might do better still. (I haven't seen N.I. as an excluded brand on big-box coupons.) Pretty nice. If I hadn't already spent plenty of money on toys this month, I'd probably be doing this.

I think it's only crackers and toast for me this christmas
Yesterday i've bought the Amplitube Fender from esoundz (still waiting for the download/serial is it normal that it takes some time ?)
And i'm planning to get the NI Massive....
I've used Reaktor for several years but too many possibilities, so my creativity went down.
I have seen on the Audio Midi site that the 2 no-brainers next monday will be:
Nomad Factory Blue Tubes Analog Trackbox for $15
Xil-Labs XILS 3 for $20
Tip don't tell your girlfriend she will kill you after monday
Right now i'm thinking of selling my body to get some money damn..

More tasty No-Brainers, indeed...
Note, though, that unless audioMIDI has worked something out, XILS 3 is dongle-only (looks like they support Synchrosoft or iLok). I like audioMIDI a lot, but I know they've been hit-or-miss in the past about listing whether dongles are required for some software.
Nomad Factory seems to support hard-disk based challenge/response or iLok authorizations; we'll have to wait and see which version(s) are available for the No-Brainer price...

I think they mean light in the physical way....but i'm not sure we have to check it out monday.
Does anybody have experience with esoundz en delivery ?
I've bought the Amplitube Fender as a digital download but didn't receive a link or serial (it's not visible in my account)
I've also received a blank mail from esoundz ?????
The strangest thing is, that I do get the links for the ampligrooves and i've already downloaded them.

I decided to give the 15 day trial a whirl this evening.. noticed they only have a 32bit version of the plugin.. no problem since I'm using a 32-bit Host on a 64bit OS.. so I go to install.. naturally it requires I install the PACE crap.. what the heck I decide.. but it doesnt install on my 64bit OS.. hmm
After pondering for a moment I decide to google PACE and find their website.. they have a 64bit version... download and install that... and proceed with the C/R dealy and it tells me the server is down. I fired off an email to the nomad factory folks (as I mentioned in the Black Friday thread) hopefully they'll sort it out.. or even better.. completely remove it for the audiomidi deal
