Thank you Urs! :)
I just wanted to share a MP3 demoing a pad sound I just made with ACE:
ACE Amazing Pad
VCO1 goes to FILTER1 and VCA1, ENV1 controls VCA1 and FILTER1.
VCO2 goes to FILTER2 and VCA2. ENV2 controls VCA2 and FILTER2.
AT - Controls filter cutoff and vibrato.
MW - Raises the pitch of VCO2 with 12 semitones.
Also I have a slightly less impressive patch demoing S&H with LP4 filter.
ACE Filter Demo S&H
I play around with the phase (lag) settings and also change the rate a little bit and finally i unplug noise and add LFO2 - saw as source into S&H and then plug out and finally back with noise into s&h. This demo is all dry of all effects because I want people to hear the unprocessed sound of ACE.
Enjoy!

you my friend are a dickhead.I am sorry if i upset you with my grammar it was one in the morning when i added my comments about this vst i no i upset you since u spent the time to write you pointless reply its only manors i write back think i was a bit harsh its not as bad as i first thought but wow my cpu gets boggedzerocrossing wrote:If you've been speaking English all your life you might want to learn the difference between the words "know" and "no." OK, I know I'm almost starting to ass kiss here but Urs, seriously. This is one fine plugin. The filter is soo good! Even for simple patches with little or no routing, ACE really kicks ass. CPU might be an issue for some but if you drop your VST down to audio it becomes manageable. I've been contemplating on getting a hardware modular but after playing around with ACE I start to question if that would be necessary at all. I got alchemy a couple of days ago and was meaning to play around with that as well but I haven't touched it yet! :D
Great work!

I'm nearly on my 90th patch and that's on an even shittier 2ghz dualcore (not even core2) - where there's a will there's a way - there are lots of ways to optimise cpu userob_lee wrote:Im only on a Q6600 what are you using? I have to agree, as a HUGE Zebra fan I think ACE sounds pretty nice, so I picked it up as soon as I saw Urs' coupon code. However, I am not sure I will use it much in my real world projects because of the high CPU usage. I am running an 8-core Mac and some of the patches use 45%, I think that's a little too much for my taste, regardless of how good the synth sounds, and man it does sound good and is easy to program too. We'll see, I wish Urs could optimize this thing a little more.
