As it is currently, it's completely random, so there's no way to control it. Your not the first to be confused by it, so I might need to rethink the way it works it little bit.deastman wrote: 1. When I enable a new step, I'm not clear how it determines which variations will be added by default.
1. Click on the pattern selector to show the pattern editor. (Next to the play button)2. How does chaining sequences work?
2. Select a pattern by clicking on a letter and a number.
3. Assign the pattern to either the current pattern or the next pattern by clicking on the buttons near the bottom.
4. Adjust the number of times the current pattern will repeat before switching to the next pattern.
Repeat these steps for all of the patterns you want to be in the chain, you can also trigger the patterns using midi notes which are assigned with this same editor.
In the next update, I will decouple the lock from the pattern editing. That's been requested by others. Currently it turn on anytime you edit patterns, and turns off when you edit a synth parameter.3. Even with the lock enabled, it would sometimes spontaneously disable again, and sequences would begin chaining.
If it does, it's a bug. Could you be a bit more specific about how to reproduce it.4. When randomizing drum sounds, it appears that sometimes sounds other than the one currently selected are getting randomized.
