I am looking for any information about wireless mouse and keyboard working with Receptor

The main trick with any USB devices and receptor is to make sure the device you purchase is USB compliant. Microsoft makes a whole line of wireless mice that use a little USB dongle you can plug into Receptor to communicate with the mouse wirelessly.

Yes, that is what I meant. To get an idea of the kind of wireless mouse I'm talking about check out this:

While I have not personally used this model, it looks to me like it *should* work. If you scroll down a bit they show the picture of the little USB dongle. If your really concerned you can go to some place that has a good return policy like Radio Shack.....of course there is nothing like hearing the testimonial from someone who has tried a wireless mouse and had it work..anyone else out there want to comment?

I use the Logitech wireless mouse on my PC. Be careful, as I don't think this will work on Receptor because you must install quite a bit of software to make it work... and the Logitech software is constantly polling the Internet to see if there are software updates and other crap that they can sell you, etc.

Please keep us informed if you get it to work. I will order Kevin's suggested Microsoft mouse from Amazon tomorrow and try it out... of course I will post my results here... good or bad.

I have successfully used a logitech wireless mouse and keyboard with my Rev C. They worked fine without the software and drivers, which I did not attempt to install.

The coolest compatible mouse/keyboard I've seen is something I picked up from Central Computer... they're on the web, and they sell the Perriboard-710 combo wireless keyboard and track pad. I only tried it briefly with my Receptor, and I had to reboot to get it to be recognized, but talk about cool... all in one keyboard and track pad that sits nicely on top of a keyboard... very cool indeed. They're a bit pricey - about $70 - but I've yet to see anything eclipse its cool factor

It works just fine on my Receptor 2 Pro Max. The only problem is there is no shut off switch. It will probably eat up the battery pretty quickly. I do like the fact that there is no antenna, just the USB plug and the little mouse.

It looks like they claim 6 month battery life, so the mouse probably "sleeps" when you don't move it. My (wired) optical mouse does that.
