Quick update: Still working on normalizing preset levels. Have another 200 to finish.

BTW, starting with 2.0, our version numbering will be in the following format:

Major, Minor, Stage, Build number
2 , 0 , 3 , 1

Stage means:

0: alpha
1: beta
2: release candidate
3: release

How are the partial presets developing? Those can really improve workflow

Allright fellows,

We are finally glad to announce that we are "officially" releasing SynthMaster 2.0

So, what's updated since the last build:

v2.0.3.1
1. NEW: With our official 2.0 release, we are changing our version numbering: 2.0.3.1 means: Version 2.0, production version, build 1

2. UPDATE: We have received more presets from our sound designers Cyforce, FragileX and our own Teoman Pasinlioglu, bringing our preset count to 580!

3. UPDATE: All of our preset volumes are normalized and their metadata is updated.

4. NEW: The current skin can now be changed by clicking on the skin selector.

5. NEW: Presets can be initialized from a list of "template" presets

6. FIX: GUI takes too much time to open/close.

7. FIX: Layer 2 bypass button is missing on the default skin

8. FIX: Layer 1/2 Filter structure buttons are not working on the default skin

9. FIX: Changing author name for a preset and saving afterwards might crash SynthMaster.

10. FIX: User wavetables under "Yamaha" category are not recognized by SynthMaster.

I like the changes, it helped a lot in the workflow.

-layers' partials are resetting the layer to default, when I click away
-easy controls are still mapped to cc22 and co in default
-reverb still increases the volume initially
-what's with audio input? it is disabled or simply not working (?)
-I changed the arp on a preset, then made a new one. the arp pattern visuals remained even when the new preset had 1 step and everything set to default

Congratulations for releasing the final version of Synthmaster 2.0, Bulent. I am sure that i and other people will have a lot of fun with it in the future.

BTW i found that you also included my updated patches and the new ones. Thanks for that.

Finally all patches seem to be categorized, thanks for this too.

wait for a bugfix release: 2.0.3.2

The cutoff/waveindex spread parameters are also not functioning yet. Could find time to fix those, it was 3:30 AM last night when I went to bed, and my son woke me up at 7:30

I'm planning to make weekly releases for bug fixes/small new features. Will also implement a build management system so whenever a new version is ready I'll notify everyone.

No no, just feel free! But keep in mind that in December we'll be focused on bugfixes + documentation/tutorials, and after January our priority will be Mac OSX AU/VST porting.
