ACE -- slightly tweaked background pane

Hi all,

I wanted a little more visual indication which knobs in ACE are dedicated to adjusting mod depths (and in a few cases, what the associated mod targets are). So I created a mildly tweaked background pane that clarifies this and a few additional details. I don't imagine this will be wildly popular, but here's a picture of the result and a link for anyone who wants to install it.

On Mac:
1. Go to /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components/ACE.component/Contents/Resources/Images/Panes, find "ACE_Back1.png", and move it to another location (so you can revert to the original background pane whenever you want)
2. Place the customized "ACE_Back1.png" in the Panes folder (without renaming it)

On PC: ?

Nice little tweaks. Only problem is the different gamma between PC and MAC. On PC the background is way too bright but it's easy to correct with simple image editing app.

Also on PC the path is: <VST Plugins Path>\u-he\ACE.data\Data\Images\Panes

for example on my PC it's: "C:\Program Files (x86)\VST Plugins\u-he\ACE.data\Data\Images\Panes"

On mac,and if in leopard 10.5.x and previous systems like tiger, before skinning simply set gamma at 2.2
System preferences->Monitor Settings->Color->click on calibrate and set the gamma at 2.2
On snow leopard apple sets 2.2 as default instead the classic mac gamma 1.8 so no problem hipotethically.

Thanks for the feedback and the tips for PC users. I did indeed make these tweaks in 10.5.x, and I noticed that results look brighter on my laptop running Snow Leopard. (Doesn't actually bother me, but it's nice to understand why it happened.) I'll try resaving with the corrected gamma settings and posting the result here, unless someone else manages before I do.
