I've just finished a new soundset for Ace, so I figured I'd post a demo of it before I actually release the product. Plus, I'm lazy and don't feel like adding the product to our website right now..

A bit more info for people who are having trouble with the high cpu usage: This demo was created with 10 instances of Ace on a dual core X2 5500 or something like that, nothing spectacular. The highest the CPU was up to, was 25% as most of the sounds use a 'draft' quality setting, but still sound very sweet. Gotta love this synth

Now, serious,
I know you're a skilled sound designer (preset designer, or what else
someone will call it) - I like the presets you created for Filterscape VA
a lot - but this kind of demo doesn't do anything for me.
Imho you'd be better off with a demo, which represents the patches
one after another, pure, with no additional effects or any other stuff added.

Just my 2 cents of course.

lol, I can always count on you, losan, for an honest opinion

Thank you, I had intended on creating other demos for this, and I just hadn't had as much time today as I thought I would. It may have been better just to hold off releasing until I did more demos. I'll do some with just single preset sounds and post them to the website, and I'll post them here too

Much better (imho),
allthough ACE allready comes with quite a lot of presets,
your new demo made me buy this soundset (and some others too -
the prices are fair enough).
I'm busy with some other stuff, but will come back later, after
listening to your stuff.

I'm glad I made the new one because it made all the difference with sales

Well, had a listen to it, and it does definetly not sound as 80s Italo Pop (Thank God !)

Instead it's a great little set with some deep fat basses, filtermodulated Sequences, some great phased Pads and cool plucked sounds.
Some Dirt included.

Well done and worth the small price.
