Yep my mistake i was pressing the little play button thinking this had to be done
I would go as far as saying that is a bug
It shows as play when playing and stop when stopped hehehe
Back to front to ever other app known
Still it works

"....having to pay extra for a future that normally come as part and parcel with a DAW" - Of course I mean FEATURE! doh! lol
(I'm sure all pay for a future one way or another...)
I must admit Subz I see your point too, perhaps I'm being a bit harsh

Didnt FXpansion have something like this years ago? Anyway, I've been waiting for such a thing.. Cant wait to see how it works..
I'm thinking sync is essential no?NAS wrote:It doesn't support transport sync so there is no using this with Renoise unless i have missed a setting

Think fxpansion was a dx wrapper and some rewire recorder appOptomadic wrote: Also wondering about that Subz..

good to see rewire is available but maybe a different solution could be made for xt2 owners (maybe loading your massiva key in to unlock it) , i wouldnt pay
extra though just you can use it in other hosts (why use in other hosts as most have rewire allready built in?)

Don't know but the Plogue Bidule plugin version has been providing rewire functionality in plugin form for some years now.Optomadic wrote:Also wondering about that Subz..djsubject wrote:so what are the demo restrictions?

Hi All
Just found this and playing as we speak.
Really easy to use. Don't know about demo restrictions.
I do have a couple of concerns:
1. With Reason the sound brought in is mighty quiet. Using the +12db gain helps but that can't be ideal
2. Limited mixing options is a bit of a pain but not a killer
3. I am having clicks at note-on with 1 Thor and 1 Subtractor + Mixer. Subtractor clicks on note-on even with longer attacks.
Not sure if I will buy because XT2 is still not multi-core and no video/smpte

And my XT2 just left the building. Was using Firefox at the time.

This doesn't allow for XT2 to be slave?

I thought I'd try it in Reaper (ReWire off) and Waveosaur but sadly the engine won't start in those cases.
Would be great if it gave ReWire to an application like Sound Forge that has Video and then Reason could be used for scoring movies!!
