I'm doing some effects pedal graphics nowadays and I'm trying to get something like that made. Seems this app is perfect for it, but I'm uh...not really used to the interface just yet.

The font needs work - probably needs to be replaced with one that looks good at 10pt with antialiasing turned off.

I forgot to add a tick mark to the knob. Also, I tweaked it a bit so that it looks good at a smaller size:

Hey Leslie, I had a play with a Marke Eigenbau pixel font on this:



Anti-alias and bold turned off.
I had to change the position of some of the numbers to fractional pixel positions to stop the occasional pixel going missing from the font...

That looks a lot better! I'd forgotten about pixel fonts.

EDIT: And I see what you mean about having to change the text position. I'm playing with Mini 7, and I'm having to tweak the text position to avoid missing pixels.

I don't know how Synthmaker works but I presume you want to extract a strip of images?
Go to file -> exportimage. Choose a fileformat with alphachannel for transparent background, I prefer the .png(alpha) option.

Also go to preferences (above your layer treeview) and set how many frames you want your knob to have, also if you want the strip to be horizontal or vertical.

something I started last night. I don't know if anyone would want to use it for any length of time, there so much red , but I'm tried to keep it balanced. Really cool that skmn can bang out something like this in 10hrs. to g200kg...but really need to make the text bend around a radius.

Wow ... I'm over a year late to have had the pleasure of d/l'ing and reverse engineering some of the best Vst/Reaktor GUI work out there. I gather from one of the posts that the free account used to host these files has limited storage, so only the latest goods are available for download. Has anyone archived these? It would really be a shame for the early offerings to just disappear into the abyss .. or sit on the hard drives of people much more selfish than Jonathan

I never got around to making the compiled folder of those. I'm almost done with what Im doing right now so maybe after the xmas I can get the stuff bundled. Mostly I avoided it because the files are all scattered now and then I just forgot.

...unless depression hits then who knows what I'll do...
