I can't tell you how much I hate Apple for providing me with sample code that doesn't work and then being picky about the consequences. In my setup, I have to manually change the version number for each AU in several places. It's about the only thing I can't automate from build to build - and which isn't caught by Apple's own development toolstrancefuric wrote:validation result: failed validation
Uploaded a new version. This one should have matching version number in all places, and AUValidation Tool won't complain (I hope)

I was still registered when I updated, but I'm on Vista.zvenx wrote:did it revert you back to demo mode? On XP it did. I had to reenter my username and serial number.

Same here on Vista in Cubase 5.1 after playing for about one hour!did it revert you back to demo mode? On XP it did. I had to reenter my username and serial number.
rsp
EDIT: Load Acesynth, register, load another instance, all looks ok, close the second one, reopen, Acesynth has lost the registration information.
I could reproduce it!
P.S.: It's the best sounding Softsynth i've ever played!

OK...as a now official paid up owner of ACE...I have but one gripe to take issue with.
The cables themselves. What I would like to do is be able to see underneath them when things get really cluttered.
You could implement Propellorheads little stunt of removing them and providing a mouse-over contextual ID...or...
you could give us a hotkey to temporarily remove them from view so we could read the panel nomenclature underneath...or...
you could make it so we could "grab" them and move them out of the way to read what's underneath...or....
you could provide an option to make them semi-transparent on a temporary or fixed basis.
Whaddya think?

Yup right-click on the inputs and look at the bottom of the pop-up, you should see options on how you want the lines to be displayed.

Oh crap! I was rightclicking on the wrong end of the cable. Exactly what I wanted. Thanks paradiddle & zvenx....carry on.

Congratulations Urs. Another nice one. I know I was a little critical of the filter sound, but with more listening it grew on me. She's a little screamer.

OK....this is odd. I get validation from Logic9 on my Nehalem MP but not on my iMac (where the report came from) Go figure.

When I demoed it, I didn't run into any problems. Mac Pro 10.5.8 Logic 9.0.2.

I bought it without demoing while there were still some helpings of ' Spaghetti' left on the plate, and I'm happy I did.
This is one superior sounding synthesizer! I hope there will be more patches by Howard, though…
Runs just fine in Logic 8, 10.4.11, Macbook Pro. But I think I need a new desktop machine - ACE sucks up CPU at an amazing rate if you happen to press more than two keys simultaneously.
A great instrument. Thanks, Urs!

If it were easy, anybody could do it!
