Hi,

I'm giving a try to LiveMachine in the latest version of FLStudio, and I can't figure how to make my midi keyboard trigger the FX in LM's "Keyboard FX Display" section (ie: to trigger the looper FX, for example)

Actually, it seems that LM should be loaded into one FL's FX channel (and not into an instrument channel), but, then, LM doesn't seem to receive MIDI input data, and so I can't mangle the audio input with my MIDI keyboard :(

Any idea about what I'm missing ? (since I can successfully play instruments in FL, yes, my MIDI keyboard does send MIDI data to FL :) , and, yes, I watched the online video tutorial too :) )

So, is there anybody who successfully uses LM in FL, around ?

Thanks for your answers!

By the way, LM seems really cool! Good job!

I just had my first look at the Livemachine, which looks fantastic, but what cought my attention was your tune here:

I couldn't stop bopping my head to this! Very chilled, with a fab bass sound and riff.

1. Put LM to mixer channel.
2. Then go to the setting page by clicking the second tab on left upper corner (in FL9). You see midi settings. Put input port to example 10.
3. Then go to CHANNELS
4. Add one: Midi out .
5. Change the port to 10.
Then you can use your midi keyboard to control midi out which is now controlling the LM.

I had small problems with FL, after the while the output fx stopped working. On second try only drumsampler responded to keyboard but fx is again silent.

Edit: When I changed the channel to 1 in midi out, also fx section responded. "lights are changing" but it dont seem to affect to wav players.

Edit2: Now it worked even for wab player. Occationally after selecting the REC from loop recorders and then selecting the REC from wav player the wav-player muted.

After seeing the tutorial and the jamming video, I'm definitely impressed. Totally unlikely what I first saw from Prodyon (aka Agonyx). Nice skins, interesting plugins... Congrats to that.

Out of curiosity, will you maybe offer the keyboard-triggered FX section seperately? And might we users have a chance to change the settings for the keyswitch-FX? Unless I've overread that somewhere.

Oh and a multi-output version sure would be nice for the "studio usage only" people like I am. :)

I would be interested too. So, only input and out put fx controllable by keyboards without drums, players and recorders. Would be quite usefull even I had quite fun today with drumloops. :)

Yes! I should have thought about that! :dog:

Thank you for your answer!

Thank you !! :)

And yes: i'm currently working on a "Livemachine LE" version and of course on a "Livemachine FX" version with only the effects - to make everyone happy.

Give me some days! I hope to have everything ready in the next two days!

Ouch. Just had a massive crash using Livemachine demo in Studio ONE - I cant reproduce it either. Basically i was palying around with two of the looprs and went to add a third and Boomf! Down she went, taking S1 with her.

I was having sooooo much fun as well :(

The only thing (aside from CPU useage) i would love to see reduced is the SIZE of the gui. Its huge!! Very difficult to navigate anywhere else across the screen and access other features of my host etc..(1024 resolution here)

But overall - im well impressed. The above crash in Studio ONE was however not the only occasion when i had trouble. It also was a bit unstable inside SONAR 8.5 - then again, thats a bit of a mess at my end at the moment. So i probably wouldn't attribute too much to that.

Fantastic! Looking forward.

I had couple crashes aswell in FL but I'll get back at those if it still occures on final version. It seems that it crashed right when demo time was over so when demo restrictions are removed it may solve these problems.
