I'm having a little trouble programming ACE.

I'm having trouble wrapping my head around the cables.

Love the sound, as soon as I come to grips it will be better.

Hehe, you'll soon notice that ACE is extremely easy to program as compared to huge modulars.

For starters you could connect every dark output socket with the input socket of VCA1 (between fx and oscilloscope) and see what everything does. You can even visualise the envelopes on the oscilloscope to some extent, unless they're set too slow to pass the dc-blocking filter.

The other thing to do is to patch anything into the tune modulation of VCO1, set to +50 semitones.

I only have the demo, but ACE is very easy to program with an astounishing value of sound possibilities. And it's good for Modular-beginners. So they can practice for Berlin Modular. :hihi:

The synth itself without any cable is pre-patched. Just look at the signal flow chart. With the cables though, you can override this flow. That's what you have to keep in mind.

Might be easier the other way around...

Sorry. :P:oops:
Peace, my friends. I'm not seeking arguments here. ;)

yes Modular environments are very confusing at first!

but ACE will help overcome that,

take the time to read the manual & analyse the patching in some of the presets,

you can also make some interesting sounds just trying to put "Any Cable Everywhere" :hihi: its quite ACE :)
