It seems to work fine with reason.NAS wrote:It doesn't support transport sync so there is no using this with Renoise unless i have missed a setting

I remember back when I made my drum sequencer that in several apps transport sync was reversed and wondering why? I still don't know but this works with reason the way it should. That may be the point.NAS wrote:Yep my mistake i was pressing the little play button thinking this had to be done
I would go as far as saying that is a bug
It shows as play when playing and stop when stopped hehehe
Back to front to ever other app known
Still it works

Seems to be fully functional. Maybe it's time limited or doesn't save setting.djsubject wrote:so what are the demo restrictions?

Wait a sec, this makes XT2 the Master??? I didn't even think of this. Now that makes it totally useless for me againNAS wrote:No slavery hehe
That's why it isn't of immediate interest to me right now

In any situation in which you need to properly mix your tracks??? VSTi gives me one single output. Not very useful when building complete drum patterns, is it?
The thing is, we cannot export the drum parts as midi. As audio we can, but I change that stuff to often during composition.
I was hoping that with ReWire I can now work with XT2 (for composition) and a DAW at the same time, synchronized in time. But I cannot. The only use for I personally saw in ReWire was such to have XT2 inside another DAW, not XT2 being the DAW

Record. But then I can slave Reaper and insert eXT as a VST, so who cares.LBN wrote:In what application would you want to slave XT where you couldn't use it as a VST plug-in?

Anyone here had the full version to know what are the differences, please ???
Are settings saved with the full version?
I thought that rewire VST could be free for eXT users and for me the only limitation could be in others daws.

I bought the full version of the rewire vst, but haven't got it. There is also no reaction by the support, when I ask for it. A little bit strange. Has anybody else the same problem?

If it was more than a couple of days ago, try checking your spam folder for your email. Presumably, they will have the same problems with spam filters that energyXT does. If you've done that, a polite reminder to their email might help.
