Got to say I'm very pleased with the new VFX beta software so far. The more streamlined vst import functions means I can finally use Minimonsta and Oddity on my VMachine, although they appear to be outputting on the right channel only!

today we launched our closed beta of the VFX software + firmware. Every V-Machine owner is invited to join the beta test!
Please go to smproaudio.com and follow the steps to get your own VFX software.
This is phase 1, a "closed beta program": We are accepting beta testers for two weeks from now on. After that the beta will go public then.
Thanks in advance for bug reporting!

I guess I must have missed out, can't find it anywhere, oh well.
Thanks anyway,
Ellen

wow.. and this is exactly what i meanMatthewSkinner wrote: ...
bionrg: I searched the ticket system and did not find your user name, nor any tickets which matched your discription.

this is why a ticketsystem in this case is a failure.
look i do understand that you're all meaning well with good intensions,
and are deviding the support help as good as you all can
but really man i suggest that you people at SMproaudio
take a goodlook at what your users/customers are litterally begging for here.
Forums are direct to the point and provide a clear TRANSPARENT way of communication.
What good is an ticketservice if no one outside can observe/read and learn from whats going on?
Even your FAQ is heavily out of sync with this thread here.
In any case... when i log into the helpserve system,
i do see the complete thread.
the question is extremly SIMPLE, have you tested DBLUE-Glitch, if so, why is it not running it's builting sequencer directly when MMC start is received through midi in?
next to that i asked wether the Vmachine has an internal sync-clock generator that can be set to MASTER/SLAVE or REMOTE as with any universal midi device on the planet.
no answer
Provide transparent support so that EVERYONE here and elsewhere can learn.

That is good news and since your original description of the thread/ticket was that there was only 1 empty/blank reply, then it is no wonder why I did not find any tickets which matched your description. I believe your ticket has 4 replies and also has answers to your questions. If you wish to recieve further assistance on this issue then please ask any remaining questions in the ticketing system as that is the only form of support that sm pro audio currently officially offers. This may change in the future.bionrg wrote: In any case... when i log into the helpserve system,

Thank you for your understanding.

untill yesterday my initial question about DBLUE and Vmachines MIDI-clock were never answered, you can't read or what? You or someone else wrote there: "I must test the plugin first"
And if you were honest enough , you would also say that it has replies of which ALL except 1 are about wether i want to participate in that bullsh***t beta-test, for a software that is going to be released in January anyway.
It is just untill today that i got answered with the following:

Hi,
After doing some more testing, I will be removing all wizard files and remove glitch from our compatable list. We never recorded the version number of glitch that we had running so we can not recommend which version is best. I found Glitch works under linux running under another host but this only confirmed the bugs which also seem to occur under our linux host.
1. You need to manually disable with a mouse the transport to get the plugin continually free wheel.
2. You can not save and recall the plugins state 100% due to a plugin bug so you can not save the transport disabled.
This is confirmed here.
http://noisyheron.wordpress.com/
also on the homepage for glitch is this warning, I will re-post it here...
Warning!
Despite being stable for many people, this version of Glitch is still just a prototype and contains a few bugs that I have not managed to fix yet. Depending on how intensively you use the plug-in, you may occasionally run into some problems ranging from quite harmless (a simple error dialog box which can be closed) to quite severe (crashing the host). Some users have reported that Cubase 4 can be particularly bad.
I cannot stress this enough: Please fully test the plug-in before relying on it in any way - especially if you plan to use Glitch in a live performance situation!
Obviously I am working towards fixing everything as soon as possible, but at the moment (and probably for the next few months) this version is the only one available to use.

OK!?
And STILL half of my question is neglected and UNANSWERED!
I see now how you people work,
in the end you will be no different from a Yamaha or a Roland,
too bad .... really too bad!
Goodluck with it all.

When I bought the Vmachine I was dissapointed about it's performance, noisy outputs and unstable software.
I send it back as it was just not able to layer 2 vsti's and software was unusable (at the time!).
I was one of the early adopters but I strongly believe in this 'future' virtual synth hardware boxes and Sm Pro.
The Vrack is still something I am waiting for and I hope SM Pro will get it right this time and offer user friendly stable software.
I just wonder why they do not answer my questions about the V-Rack's release date, vncserver possibility,...
It looks like Camel Alchemy runs on the Vmachine and it's the only plug in I need.
(I hope for a Terratec Producer wizard) but it needs the original CD to authorize. I have tested TP in Linux running wineasio but if the Vmachine does not
support external CD players it will be just impossible to get it running.
The V-rack will have enough CPU power and I hope for a clean output.
So, to Sm Pro again:
1.When will the V-rack be released?
2.Will it support an external CD/DVD?
3.What about registering plug in's via vncviewer-vncserver? Possible?
4.External USB midi boxes like the Emu 2x2 supported?
5.Loading of fxb's? Possible, planned or?
6.Dual Core. Which processor?
7.Support for solid state disk?
8.Again: Remote control via VNC or something else planned, possible?
Thanks
