Mono Out to PA?

Hello! How do you guys handle mono house/PA situations? Do you pan your VSTIs fully left (or right) and use the L (or R) output alone?

I don't really want sum the outputs to mono and end up with a phasey house feed.

Thanks,

Paul

I often have used a free plugin that is installed on every Receptor. On the master channel insert FX dfx monomaker. Open the to the edit view of monomaker and do a mono merge.

Thanks Rick. I will try that. No phasing problems with that plug?

I'd say that any phasing problems would be coming from plugins feeding dfx monomaker, not monomaker itself. If you get phasing problems, pan the offending channel hard left or right and adjust the volume if needed.
My plugin, GH-LRSelector, also can be used to make the signal mono. You'll find it at the bottom of my page.

Don't like sending a Mono feed, but occasionaly I have no choice.
I use 18 to 30 different Multi's in 6 different shows.
I wish there was an easy & fast way to sum the output from the Receptor; as opposed to having to create, in my case, aproximately 120 duplicate Mono Multi's...

Seems to me, it should be available as a master setting!
