Emergency: Receptor Remote Control No Longer Sees Receptor!

I am 24 hours from needing to finish this project and my receptor has disappeared from my settings.
I've checked and rechecked everything. I'm connected via DHCP to my Airport router; the Mac is set for DHCP; the router is giving out DHCP based addresses; the cables are correct; and I can connect to the Receptor's hard drive via address smb:192.168.1.6 on the Finder's desktop.
But Receptor Remote Control refuses to see the thing.
The sequencer I have set the IP addresses manually, but no MIDI is getting to the receptor.
Help a guy in need! I've got only hours to finish. Any suggestions?

I just saw your post, if your still having network problems please create a help desk ticket at plugorama.com, this would be the best way to help you.

I had something similar happen on a PC. The Receptor Remote software could access the Receptor hard drive from my laptop, but I would get an error when trying to use the remote viewing. After defragging the laptop hard drive and cleaning up it's registry with C Cleaner (a free PC registry sweeping tool) the Remote worked.

Have you done any updates recently to Receptor or your computer? How about installing the newest version of Receptor remote? A lot of times this can create connection problems because Receptor Remote version is too new for Receptor (you'd need to upgrade to OS 1.7), or Receptor OS version is newer than Receptor Remote (a lot of Receptor 2 users have this problem). Either way it can help to check and make sure both receptor and receptor remote are at they're latest versions.
