KV331 Audio

Hey,

I just purchased SynthMaster 2, and installed it all. I run Acid Pro 7.0, and I'm not getting any audio. I edited the buffer in Acid so that it was compatible, and all of the parameters and knobs work and everything but I'm not getting any sound. Anyone know how to help, or where I could go for help?

What's your sound card? Are you using ASIO drivers? or WDM?

I don't have an ASIO sound card, but I tried running it through both my Presonus Firebox's ASIO sound card, and asio4free, and I still couldn't get any sound out. It keeps telling me the buffer size of the host is wrong, even when I have it set correctly according to both Acid and asio4free controller console. I AM running windows XP on a 2008 macbook, so I dunno if that's causing issues (random things happen to my computer because of my "unique" set up sometimes)

Not sure if I made this clear before but when I have a busy mix (with Kontakt Instruments - using a lot of RAM), it takes about 20 seconds for SM2 to open up. Windows XP/SP3.

That's odd. Is this the release version? We had GUI load issues during beta period but I fixed those in the release version.

I just realized that when working with SM 2 in Ableton Live after opening and closing the GUI the name of the currently selected presets is only shown as "Preset Name". This way it's difficult to work and AFAIK this problem was supposed to be solved some time ago...

I think it appeared again after some other fixes. Will fix in the next release.

I tried it again. This time after reopening the GUI opened with a different skin (the "old" skin) and after switching back to the default skin also the patch name was back. Same game on the next try. Everytime when i switch the skin also the name comes back. I guess this is not how it's supposed to be. Really strange...

Certain Presets(sometimes are muting the plugin, i.e. turning on the yellow button[-] and [o] on it, I have to unclick the button and other presets may work or not and do the same, but once a preset does this the same preset will malfunction the plugin everytime, and a delete plugin folder/reinstall plugin folder is the only fix.

1. Scroll to preset or click preset, no problem
2. Hit midi controller(any key), yellow button comes on, a light click noise, no sound
3. Unclick yellow button, press a key, same again as 2.
4. choose another preset, it may work or it may do from 2. again
5. Close plugin/reopen plugin, same presets will fail
6. Close DAW, Turn off PC/Restart PC, Open DAW, Open SM2, same presets fail
7. Delete/Reinstall SM2/Reauthorise(enter serial/name/email) on loading, problem fixed.

Cubase SX3/Windows XP 32bit/Dual Core

Note* Does not do this all the time, but once it does I have to do 7. all over again, most of the time it's fine, last time I was very busy, making presets, naming, saving etc...

Hi everyone,

Tonight I'm starting bug fixing. In the coming 2 weekends we'll have 2 new bugfix release. Might have small new features as well such as copying/pasting partial preset settings

Hey Kv331, (I'm the one using Acid Pro 7.0)

I wonder if there's an issue with my version of XP? I have Windows XP sp3, and your website says it needs sp2.

I dont think that has do to with it. I'm debugging all of the issues this week.
