because we take a look at your signed NDA. And you sent it on a weekend. So you see, it is not an automatic response, we do it manually. Also it was my first task this morning, you should have the download link already...

Hi delafuerte,

it's me again. I sent you the NDA as PDF on Dec the 9th.

And you sent back a mail on 11th with the following:

"I send you the NDA via jumbo mail.

thanks"

I've never got a mail from jumbo mail! So that's why we don't have any signed NDA from you...please resend then!

best regards

Just a curiosity...

...with this beta version, do we get two different VFX installations?

If not, is it possible to downgrade the V-machine to the previous version?

I ask you that becouse I have a live concert next saturday, and I wanna be sure can come back to the last working setup whenever I want.

thanks

I got your mail and I sent you the download link a minute ago.

Yes you can downgrade again. Just backup your old library manually. I have a parallel installation here. If you want to downgrade again just open the "old" VFX and downgrade the V-Machine to 20090327 again.

best regards

Hi,

The current PC/MAC version of VFX doesn't support a custom V-Machine GUI yet. The only GUI the plugin itself has is the custom GUI and the controls for the default VFX GUI interface. With these controls, all settings which are on the custom GUI are available as well. They just look a bit less fancy.

There is a 'dynamic' slider on the 'settings' page. It's for adjusting how TruePianos performs to the combination of your keyboard's characteristics and playing style. If high velocity notes are hit too easy, move it the right. If you have to smash the keys to reach higher velocity notes, move it to the left.
I suppose the GUI is disabled inside VFX for this beta test version right ?

Hi,

Try playing on the V-Machine itself and using the 'dynamics' slider to adjust the behaviour of the plugin to the characteristics of your keyboard and playing style. This might very well fix (most of) the issue you are experiencing. Should when playing on the V-Machine itself you still experience this in a way you consider unacceptable latency please contact us directly using the contact form on our website.

Actually I haven't connected/updated the v-machine hardware yet.
I'm currently still playing through the VFX software only (Midi keyb -> USB midi I/F -> VFX -> PC monitors). No "settings" page there ...

I have some big latency using the TruePiano patch by the way
And ONLY with that TruePiano patch, everything else is OK. Strange ...

And more importantly (to me at least), Samplelord doesn't seem to work anymore with the VFX Beta software.

I have been testing the new "V-Machine" TruePiano vst on the V-Machine itself and I can play heavy classical pieces from Chopin or Rachmaninov without the latency bothering me, for normal pop or rock use it is more than perfect, I agree with Roel, try it on the actual machine, the latency is minimal and will not disrupt your playing. Usually when I test for latency, there are some classical pieces I try which I am not able to play if there is a noticeable latency, I did the test with those pieces and was able to get through all the pieces with no problems or mental blocks.....

What's happened to sample lord in the beta version?
Why I can't see it?

I've noticed you've lost the opportunity to implement the transpose function in the VFX! :uhuhuh:

Post

Also in the beta version, Sample Tank 2L encounter the same problem when you switch from large samples! :bang:

So far not so good!

Good idea the online check of the wizard file.
