If it's a fresh install, you might want to check out the PatchLib:

(me is now in a hurry because I havn't put the new serial number in place yet... ARRRRGH totally forgot about that...)

Phewwww... just did a test order, and the new serials that ShareIt sends work!

So I guess we can say with confidence:

It is released!

:D

(manual updates, serial number updates for those who slipped through, minor website graphics... all this will follow soon, but now I have to concentrate on Uhbik and a newsletter before x-mas)

I wish all developers/companies were as selfish as you.

And congratulations for another great release. This must be the biggest free update in softsynth history.

2.5 is huge! Not just the biggest but also the best/most useful!!

The upgrade is huge! People interested in the new XMF filter types should have a look at the video here:

I am downloading now :)

I just installed 2.5 demo for both PC and MAC, and spotted a possible(minor) bug:

When I initialize Zebra2 and click 'default scale' at voice Microtuning, I see a box with 'Local' and 'user', and everything seems to be fine. however if I switch to 'Unempty dark horse' skin and then click the field to change tuning, the box just says 'Not applicable'. If I change back to default skin, it still says 'not applicable'. I have to re-initialize the plug-in to get it work again.

Same problem with PC and MAC, tested with Renoise and Logic 8 pro. I haven't read the whole manual or all the messages in this thread so maybe I am just missing something? And it really isn't a major problem.

Anyhow congratulations Urs for making such a great-sounding and versatile synth, I'm really considering buying it!

Yeah, sorry about that. Will update the Dark Horse once I get a free head.

Is it still supposed to offer an option to switch between versions 2.3 and 2.5?

I was expecting it to just say 2.5. I huess this is because of compatibility with older projects then?

Thanks for the release Urs - and Merry Christmas!

HS Dom7plus is one of my new favourite sounds - just ooozy :)

No filters either - shows the quality of the oscs and the oscFX (btw I just made a KoreSound out of this with the SpecraFX mapped to the Kore morphing pad - that really works well for subtle changes in tonal quality)
