2.5 is fantastic and the new presets are exceptional. Thank you!

Yes, I have wondered that too. So far I have avoided using such oscs in the preset competitions. Also the same question arises for distributing presets made using the Transmission templates as a starting point.

Urs, you rock.

Musical Gym: I'm sad to see your question/bug report went unnoticed, but I'm pretty sure your Zebra opens in UI Editor mode. You probably have the extra files that enable this in your presets, so try deleting your default.h2p (back it up in another directory, just to be sure) and a file called something like nouieditor_default.h2p
Now if you start Zebra, it should be normal again. Try this, and let us know if it works!

Problem here... I just installed Zebra2.5 Win and let it move all my presets to a new 'c:\Users\Public\Documents\vst\u-he directory'. I have the Zebra2.data directory inside this with the Factory presets, but my old presets were not moved. Worse still, when I load Zebra2.5 in a host (Sonar8 or Tobybear Minihost), Zebra2.5 comes up, but is still looking at the
'Program Files\steinberg\vstplugins\u-he' for it's presets, oscillators, etc.
I didn't believe it so I saved a preset, and it saved in the above 'program files\..' directory.

I believe the problem is inside the 'Program Files\steinberg\vstplugins\u-he' directory, there is both a directory Zebra2.data and a Zebra2.data shortcut to the new user directory. Should I backup the old Zebra2.data inside 'program files\steinberg\vstplugins\u-he' and then delete it?

Sorry to be a pain.

Ok, I backed all the steinberg\vstplugins\u-he files and then renamed the steinberg\vstplugins\u-he\Zebra2.data to OldZebra2.data. This makes Zebra2.5 now look at user\public\vst\u-he for the presets. I guess what my question now is, what data should I NOT hand copy over to the user\public\vst\u-he folder?

crap... getting demo mode, enter user registration now. Oh well.

I believe I have it all fixed, so ... tap, tap... Move along, nothing to see here...

I panicked, but I'm ok now

A-ha! It never occurred to me to try with Bidule since somehow I didn't think that it could be host related.

Think of it as Zebra 2, version 5 (we omitted 4 because it wasn't spectacular enough) :hihi: :hihi: :hihi:
