Urs:

I have been wondering if there is something wrong with the timing of the various LFO's, once you choose sync'd delays larger than 1/1 (2/1, 3/1...etc).

Example: I set an LFO to drive a filter with a positive saw over 4 bars. The filter snaps closed somewhere in the 3rd bar. I've tried phase shifting it 75% and that seems to shore up the timing....but only for a while as the whole thing seems to drift over a period of time. First off, I don't think technically, the phase control should even be necessary to "fix" the timing from fully closed to fully open for the cycle, using a saw (pos or neg). Everything from 1/1 and shorter appears to work correctly. Using a Global LFO trigger settings at 4 bars (for a 4 bar loop) doesn't seem to help. Anything to this? Or is there some setting I'm missing?

I can wait til you get set up in Australia for the answer.

The high pitched sawtooth is sampled at much longer intervals than a single cycle, and thus with some luck you get a much slower (and steppy) version of the sawtooth that's still recognizable as a sawtooth, or a repetitive pattern. Which is maybe a desirable form of aliasing.
Thanks, that is a good enough explanation. Having expected complete chaos, the actual result is a very pleasant surprise and an extremely useful feature

Peace,
Andy.
