OK, this is very, very strange... after going into the Automap plugin manager and making sure all u-he pluggos are checked, and making sure that the new (Automap)-appended .dll's are in the C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase 5\Vstplugins\u-he folder, upon launching Cubase, they're not found, and they are unavailable to use via the instrument rack. I have no idea what's going on... does anybody else??

Hmmm... the latest updates change the number of parameters due to feature additions. This can confuse some hosts. It may help to delete some associated files, like that Zebra2.ksd that one has to always delete in KORE.
If something isn't seen in Cubase, it's often advisable to delete the Cubase plugin blacklist file for a proper rescan. Just don't ask me where this is, I have forgotten my dongles and won't be able to access Cubase for 3 months

Urs, thanks much! That did the trick! Took me a while to track down the folder, but I got it. You lost your dongles? Ruh roh! This is why I hate dongles... always makes me nervous when I have starving musicians over to my place, which makes me feel bad... software should be secured remotely, I feel.
Just got the Sonnox plugins during the group by, so there's ANOTHER dongle to deal with... yay!
Anyway, I thank you, and your support is top-notch. Zebra 2.5 kicks ass, too--but, you knew that. My only gripe is the Massive-esque CPU load on some seemingly simple patches, like Howard's gorgeous "Evangelos" patch. I assume this software is already fully SSE-optimized, etc... I'm running a Q6600 core 2 quad, and it still eats up an entire core pretty quickly sometimes. Any possibility of it getting assembly-optimized, or is it already?
Anyway, keep up the great work! I'm putting off upgrading my computer until at least these new Gulftown 6-core procs are out. I'd prefer 8, but hey...

Nah, just forgot to pack them... wife and I do a 3-months trip to Melbourne, during which I'm confined to work with a mobile setup...DrWashington wrote:You lost your dongles?
