Yes, their position on that is weird too...Synthbuilder wrote: I know what you're saying here. If you remember it was you who recommended me to jump to Live when we had all that bother with T2 all those years ago. I went in at Live 5 and I was dead impressed - excepting the ruddy midi editor and Live's midi timing which I had hoped would improve, which it hasn't.
That's good news indeedBut I have flirted with other DAW software over the last few years. ... Fortunately, 8.0.9 is running well on my new i5.
For me, I made the switch to Cubase 5, which is great imho. Just what I needed as a full-featured centre of the studio here. But I really like to have something else that I can use as a composing scratchpad and for fun... but capable of finishing stuff off well too. I had Live and Reason as you know, and thought it would be Live I would stick with. As it turns out, Record/Reason fits the bill much better for me at this point, especially considering I have Cubase for more serious work stuff.
I agree and hear you. It couldn't be my main host without that either. I join the voices requesting it, and hope this time the Props see the benefits. Historically they are kinda anti-hardware though... time will tell!...I hear what you say, but without midi out I am kind of stuffed.
