Anyway, yeah, the thing is those three sites have different purposes. Sonic Reality is the site as a manufacturer which services ALL dealers of Sonic Reality, not just esoundz.

eSoundz is kind of like a "sound outlet" mainly for the purposes of selling Sonic Reality but other stuff that we have easy access to or drop ships, is downloadable etc. There is no single Sonic Reality dealer that carries all of our stuff so we had to make one. That's esoundz.

DownloadableSoundz.com is meant for dealers to be able to sell a vast range of virtual inventory through Download Cards (like iTunes cards). It's a huge benefit to them and a chance for them to have an even larger range than esoundz has (because it has thousands of individual loops, instruments and other things that can be purchased by buying bulk credits). It's also meant to be for more than just Sonic Reality sounds. But that one is only a year old and the other two have been around in various versions for around 7-10 years. So... it's still a baby but a great concept and it will solidify more this coming year.

So as long as we're trying to do those three different activities there is no way to consolidate them all. But there is a way to connect your esoundz account to a downloadable (if someone joins DownloadableSoundz first though it doesn't go the other way because they could come from another deal and we handle that with respect to the dealer).

Anyway, it's not that big a deal to be a member of all of those. Each has a different purpose. SR.com tells you about the products with behind the scenes photos, videos and more. eSoundz is a STORE and downloadablesoundz is for buying credits and using your epointz to get a la carte stuff, multi-choice products (that's why we used it for this GB)... so it all has its purpose. Just seems like a lot but... there are a lot of components in this group buy! You also have to get EZ Player Pro from Toontrack when you get the serial if you choose it at that phase. So that + Naive Instruments makes 5. But... ALL good stuff. The worste that can happen is you're on their newsletters which you can cancel.
I certainly understand and I'm not ungrateful. It just seems as though one could be connected to everything through a portal or something. It would be much easier for customers to manage with all of the distinctions and separate purposes hidden from the end user (behind the curtain). I did connect my esoundz and downloadablessoundz which was painless and easy (although still two sites to navigate).

But I'll leave all of that strategizin' to you. I'm off to bed whilst Kontakt 3.5 is happily (and lazily) downloading. Hopefully I'll awake tomorrow to find one more flaming hoop has been cleared! :hihi:

P.S. I'll get some extra sleep for you guys, too. It's the least that I can do. :P Oh, and someone has got to introduce me to that 7 Aliens redhead to my right. I've seen so much of her lately that I think I'd like to have her children.

I'm a Mac guy, but I would suspect that if you just created a folder called Infinite Player wherever you want to store all the samples and multis for you IP library, and then select that folder when the installer asks for it, everything will be automatically installed in there. The installer will automatically create all the subfolders and stuff which you need right inside that folder.

And then you just navigate to the folder from Kontakt 3.5 to launch instruments and multis.

nevermind, I found it. It was the Infinite Player "library" folder, not the folder with the binaries etc...I was puzzled because it kept asking the same question even after selecting the folder I had specified during setup...

Thanks! I actually found it when I was downloading another product- everytime I'd download the various bits they'd be a totally different size. Finally I found DownThemAll, problem solved. Plus, if you maximize the "segments," you can often speed up your downloads. The resume function is invaluable, as well.

Btw, Squids, what Miami restaurants would you recommend? I'm a sucker for Sublime (my girlfriend is vegan), I love their tuscan quiche and I can't believe it isn't "real!"

I had a girlfriend that was Vegan when I lived in LA once. That's tough because I eat steak tar tar (the complete opposite). Just kidding. I have had it though in Italy and it was amazing.

Here in Miami area... Sushi Room in Hollywood, Toni Sushi in South Beach (although spendy), Rocky's for a burger on the beach around 73rd and Collins, Las Vacas Gordas (prob spelled it wrong) for some good Argentenian grill, Versailles for great Cuban food - that's downtown... let's see. There a bunch of places I don't know the name of and if I didn't go with my girlfriend who speaks fluent Spanish I would never know about it like that Tapas place.

Oh man I just put some Tiger Balm on my neck and it's kicking in. This is my latest thing. All of a sudden I've been getting into muscle relaxers. Cool effect. lol

There's a pretty good Chinese place on 163rd called Hong Kong Noodle. They have Dim Sum which I love. There's a place in LA called VIP Seafood which has live tanks (don't let your girlfriend see that) and they have incredible little plates of appetizers - dumplings. I can make a lot of that stuff. I like getting the little gyoza skins and putting various shrimp and assorted things inside. There's this shrimp roll with toasted sesame seeds on the side that I can almost make as good as that LA place. Here in Miami it's spotty. Not the sam variety as LA of course and San Fransisco and New York are even better... of course. For food. For weather I think I do like it here in Miami the best. I was actually freezing my butt off in Mexico and I know I got some flack for that from the Notherners but I forgot to explain something important. The Northerners all have HEATERS because they're used to the cold so they're prepared. Apparenty in Mexico City it never used to get so cold so a lot of the houses don't have heaters (newer ones do). This was an old multi-story house I was staying at (and I was literally in this sort of dungeon area which had the best internet wifi... metal doors, brick walls and it was FREEZING without a heater... just a little heater that I had to reset every 2 minutes.)

Luckily, she's totally cool with my own eating habits. She's a great cook, I'm trying to convince her to open her own place. Her food is great and I don't miss meat... but she'll actually cook it for me. She's a sweetheart and she doesn't mind the music thing, either. In fact, I met her at one of my band's shows (at Churchill's!). But she freaks out when I eat shrimp in front of her. "Those are BUGS!"

You spelled Las Vacas Gordas (the Fat Cows) fine. :) I'm gonna check out those places, (well, maybe not the spendy one!), as I love both sushi and burgers... I actually live near Versailles so that place I know very, very well. My dad (both my parents are Cuban) had the oldest business on Calle Ocho (an old-school barber with the straight-razor shaving and everything!).

Since I divide my time between here (the Roads near Brickell) and North Miami (round Ives Dairy, moving up there soon) and I love driving, any good restaurant within a 75-mile radius I'm down for...!

I grew up here and I can't stand the weather. Except now! 47! Awesome.

One of my favs! Such an underrated album. You also mentioned Doves and Sigur Ros earlier in the thread. Me likey your iPod. Love to see an alternative-style drum collection, or something like that, one day. The Missing Persons stuff from the Ken Scott collection is so tempting... would love to see some more stuff like that, but I doubt there's a market for it. Ha! I got it back on-topic! Well, not really.

I mainly use these drum collections for writing, then I show the ideas to my drummer who pretends he's going to play them note for note and then plays something much better and tries to convince me I thought of it, and for sound replacement of other people's stuff that I do (I mix a lot o' stuff). I got SSD for the metal stuff really, and this stuff for the composing and articulate stuff. I'll let you know when I use them, I've got two albums to mix soon and I have a feeling you'll be hearing them on there somewhere...

Ok, I'm seriously babbling, the Land of Nod calls!

...like a true Cuban, I will drink a cafecito (that's espresso to you guys) and then go to sleep. Because it actually puts me to sleep!

That's funny! :)

I once took a girlfriend to the beach for a late night date with candles and wine. It was our anniversary, actually. We set up a blanket in the sand by a log, and then I lit those little metal T-light candles all around us.

As the evening proceeded we noticed that these bugs kept jumping towards the candles, and some of them were landing inside the containers of hot melted wax. Imagine my surprise when I got up close to one of these candles and could see some of those insects which had boiled inside the wax... they looked exactly like little shrimps!

Whilst living in Thailand, I at Larb which was raw prok mince floating in blood (with coriander and other spices). Sounds gross but was quite tasty although I didn't make it part of my standard diet.

Also while living in Thailand, I witnessed my wife eating one of her favourite dishes...seasoned live shrimp! You have to keep a lid on the bowl to stop them jumping out. Couldn't bring myself to eat them though (things jumping in my mouth...erk). :D

My Sensei recommended it, and it was wonderful. I recently gave it to a friend who had a sore shoulder, and told her to use just a little bit. She decided to use quite a bit BEFORE her yoga class. She called me after her class and told me it looked as though she had burned herself severely. The next day there was no sign of her "burn," but this is strong stuff. I never use it before exercising, and a little goes a long way. I thought $10 was a bit expensive, but it has worked great the few times I've needed it.

I've done quite a lot of searching for another song with the word moot in it...this seems to be the only reference.

The closest I can find is the country artist "Moot Davis" and a song called "Moot-Lie" by an italian death metal band called raintime. I must say, both I have never heard of and neither are a lyric!

Squids wrote:One way we could add it automatically is to bundle the Jazz kit with the Deluxe Piano in the same zip. It'd make it 300ish megs larger but... what do you think Infinite Player veterans?
I would keep the files separate:
-- different combinations of bundles could make things more confusing, leading to more questions about what is where, and probably redundant downloads (it's £1 for each GB here)
-- individual downloads are smaller and less prone to download problems, people can see instantly what they have got on their Downloads area(s), and I owuld venture easier to administer -"All" you have to do is decide which downloads go on which account.

At least it's not winter where you are (well, not really :) ).

Someone said this would be available for a while longer (I didn't joint the GB). Is that so?
For another week or so ... hurry, hurry.
