Hi folks,

I have two questions;

1)

Is it possible to have shorter notes than 16th notes? (which seems to be the minimum right now..)

2)

How do you write "jazz rythms" on Mu?

I don't know the exact vocabulary, but I'll try to explain:

For the moment, one beat is divided into 4.

Which means I can do 16th in 4/4, 8th in 2/2.

But what if I want triplets??

Thanks folks.

Sure!

Right-click the editor -> Edit -> Select Grid.

Then you can choose fine grids up to 1/64th of a bar, or even set to "No Grid".

Same answer as above, but try the 1/12th or 1/24th grid.

Also note that you can also set the time signature of a composition to 3/4 if you want. Therefore right-click the composer -> Composition -> Edit Properties -> Beats Per Bar.

Hope this helps.
