Did you get rid of the Info Folder, the Studio ProFiles Infinite Player_info.nkx and nkc (important to get rid of that old NKC file especially) before you installed the new kits?duojet wrote:A couple things:
Thanks for the new kits. A couple things I noticed.
The Roll 2 on the snare in Kit5 is long and does not stop if I do a center snare hit in the middle of it. In other words you hear both the roll going and the center hit at the same time. The center hit should mute the roll. The other kits are ok (tried 1,2,5,8 so far)
After installing the new kits the skins are gone again
The snare center hit on kit5 sounds kind of like a drag/buzz, not sure if it's intentional. I kinda like it but I'm not sure if its meant to be this way (loose snares?) or if the drum was hit like a drag/buzz roll for the center hit.
Same issue with the dates from my previous post. Date modified has a 1737 year for date modified. Not sure it affects anything.
If not then do that now and then download this: http://www.sonicreality.com/squidscorne ... fo_nkx.zip and unzip that and drag it into your Infinite Player folder. That should solve any missing graphics.
As for your vintage creation dates... we're going to look into it and see. It doesn't affect anything though.
Regarding the Rolls, this is the way it is supposed to work. You CAN however adjust the release time per roll if you want it shorter. It is not going to be cut off by the center. That would not sound natural. You have to play it that way. The Roll 1 is designed for what you want to do which is what we call a "pick up". The roll 2 is designed to have a long release so you can play roll 1 and 2 keys back and forth to make the MOST realistic snare rolls you ever heard from a sampler. Try it! But you can adjust it to your liking. This is how it was designed for iMap though.
iMap finger drumming lessons are coming. Although there's some good videos now that I did on www.oceanwaydrums.net/videos.php Plenty of helpful breakdown information there.
