Starting with basic stuff + oscillators.

Part 1 - Basics, Oscillators
Part 2 - Oscillators continued
Part 3 - Mod Matrix and Filters
Part 4 - Basic Patch Design

I'm not necessarily the most pro Zebra user but a few friends of mine requested that I do this, so here we go. :)

Fantastic!

I enjoy video tutorials so much because they fill in the knowledge gaps we beginners have. This one does a great job. Thank you!

Thanks, great job! Looking forward to the next video's in this Zebra2 series.
The more I hang around at KVR the less music I make.

Thank you, Zircon, that was excellent. It makes me want to learn more about Zebra2 - and then buy it! (It's taken me a long time to get even basic sounds out of ZebraCM, but the sound quality is worth it.) Your tutorial is informative, concise and easy to follow. Make more immediately! :) :help:

Why aren't more software tutorials like yours? Reaper, I'm looking at you.

Wow, didn't expect this kind of response - glad you guys are enjoying it! I don't do a lot of video stuff, so I intend to keep making these more polished (for example, I noticed afterward I had my Zebra volume too low.)

Here's part 2, which talks about more oscillator functions such as phase invert, sync, phase reset, multiple voices, osc FX, and the concept of modulation in Z2.

(video quality will improve shortly, I just uploaded it)

These are very nice, Zircon!

There seems to be a gap between #1 and #2. #2 starts with Soft/Crisp already in progress, and says it already covered LFO. I didn't see that info in #1.

[EDIT] (I looked again, and maybe it's just my slow brain missing something...!)

Thanks again, please continue!

Great stuff as always zircon. I esp liked your analysis of the OSC FX section, a place that is often overlooked by many Z2 users. I'm looking forward to the next ones in your series! :) :tu:

Thanks a bunch! :D Really helpful! I'm just starting out tweaking and doing my own patches, and this is gold for me being a total Zebra (and most synthesizers) newbie.
