very simple jazz chord progressions

Im a jazz noob. Is it possible to start off with some progressions I could fit into d minor scale or something?

It does not have to be jazz as long as it helps me find out how to make weird progressions, and understand what im doing

The ii V I progression (Dm G7 Cmaj7 in the key of C major) will take you a long way. Take a look at the song "Autumn Leaves" which has several ii V I progressions:

Autumn Leaves is a nice tune but I don't think it's what your asking for. If you want a song that stays mostly in the key of D minor, you probably want to play a minor blues tune. I think a good one would be "Birk's Works" by John Birks "Dizzy" Gillespie. It's originally in the key of F minor, but I transposed it for you. The song is a typical 12 bar blues; each / is one beat. Have fun!
