Cool, I got it now. Dial up is a mess, took over 4 hours.

My apartment complex people say they've discontinued their contract with cable internet, so dsl should be available now, but I haven't found anything yet.

I wanted to check out the complete arp function.

Just downloaded the latest standalone 64 bit version and I'm having problems:

1. Clicking on a loop in the browser doesn't load it or add the Loop tab. In the right hand corner, the program says the loop is playing, but the loop doesn't even appear in the list of instruments. (Using one of the demo loops for this. If I instead load a sample of my own, the loop tab appears.)
2. If you click on the virtual midi keyboard, multi's don't seem to play together. If I load two instruments, regardless of how I set things up, only the highlighted one plays. Works fine using a midi keyboard. The problem is with the virtual keyboard at the bottom of the interface.

Something that probably isn't a problem that's unique to this version:

In my old Plugsounds Keyboard vst, I could program specific ranges: play a note and then edit things, and only the key range attached to that sample would be edited. Is that not possible with this new version? We instead must create multis and load the instrument several times? Surely not. If so, this edit range feature really needs to be added. The new version should be as capable as the old version. (Since we must pay to buy the same sounds all over again if they are to work in the new interface…and buy an iLock.)

Hi Jake,

1) You might be experiencing the fact that the demo soundbank use rex file and that properllerheads don't have released a version of the rex shared library on Windows 64bits. So currently you can't play any rex file in the 64bits Windows version and as long as propellerahds don't release it we can't do anything.

2) The virtual keyboard only play on the selected part not for all the part on the same midi channel. This is by design.

3) There is no zone edit in uviworkstation so you can't do it anymore. Sorry about that.

Hope this answers your question.

Hi, I found some issues.

RTAS: "Entering a value" and "Shortcuts & Key commands" doesn't work in PTLE8.
VST: Drag & drop audio data and MIDI data doesn't work in FL Studio 9.

Ver: 1.1.2
OS: WINXP SP3

Regarding FL Studio 9, it's quite strange.
Are you able to drag & drop audio from Windows Desktop on the area you were trying ? If you can't, it might be a FL issue.

Will check PTLE8.

Thanks for the report.

Yes. I'm able to do it.
It was also possible when having tried with PSPro(Legacy Ver.).
So, I think that there may be a possibility of a cause in UVIWS.

Post

By the way, PSPro version is v1.0.1.
It was possible to import data directly in FL playlist tracks. But, too buggy...

UVIWS has powerful arpeggiator now and it's friendly with a club/dance oriented FL.
If the LOOP section works well it will become good news for all FL users!

I'm quite puzzled by that.
Thing is, UVI Workstation use standard Windows (and handle both move and copy flavor to please all host) Drag n Drop and moreover use Juce implementation which should be quite bug free.

If you Drag n Drop a loop from UVI Workstation to the Desktop, then from the Desktop to FLStudio, we agree it works fine ?

Does the mouse update its cursor when you are over FLStudio while drag n dropping from UVIWorkstation ?

Thanks,

Hello Folks,

Just wanted to let you know that we have released a new version of UVI Workstation. (1.1.3)

Here is the changelog

- [Imp] Optimized convolution reverb
- [Fix] Fix issue with presets containing release triggered samples
- [Imp] Progress bar for UFS indexing
- [Fix] WASAPI support now working correctly.

People using convolution reverb in their setup should definitely see a great improvements.
It now use a state of the art optimization that you would usually only found in dedicated convolution reverb products.

Cheers.

UVIWS is really stable, but this issue happens only by a combination with UVIWS and FL as a result that I tried. There is a possibility that FL isn't based on standard Windows, but I wonder that PSPro hasn't this issue at least.

Personally, the best is to be able to directly export data from UVIWS to playlist track.
I'll spare no efforts in cooperating if you are interested in solution of this issue (If FL's specifications change isn't necessary).

Yes. it turned to "Prohibition Sign" when I moved a cursor to the playlist.

Now fixed.
Will be available in 1.1.4.

FWIW, it was a bug in Juce Drag n Drop implementation.

Thanks for spotting it.
