Wow you guys are fast! ... I dont even have as much as a bassline yet! :hihi:

Cheers for the submission dwsel :)

Sorry, a wee bit OT, but I had a bit of a Eureka moment last night when I should have been asleep ... a realisation that I could use simpler method, and far less maths, to redesign Flex-N-Steins morphing oscillator ... and I couldn't get back to sleep 'til I'd put the circuit together in my head :hihi:

Luckily, it was still there when I woke up, so I've spent most of the day building and testing it ... and it works! ... and it has far less circuitry, so should be kinder to cpu.

Some cool possibilties have opened up now for the development of FNS! :)

Cool, I always wondered what you used to make it and was guessing at math.
Myself I've only tried multiply two OSCs but it sounded just like the Ring Modulation module. Subtract didn't seem to do anything but divide was cool, a little bit like some old computer music. :)

Hello,

Get prepared for a 6min40 (bad) trip
Could have been shorter, but I like it like that (and my girl too, but she may love me so it doesn't count :hihi: )

Rogue Batty's Dream - Totolitoto

27*Rogue
1*RoomMachine
4*EpicVerb
Delays (TAL, DubDelay...) (used with moderation ;o)) and host EQ
Mastering: JB_Broadcast, Default preset

The first who find what I'm referenring to in the track title get the right to vote for me :hihi:

[EDIT] the track is uploading at 6.4K/s, so it should be up next week

Yep, Xenobioz ,,,,it's all in the maths :) ....With FNS4, the morphing wave involved splitting the wave into + and - cycle and treating seperately .... further splitting according to amplitude, and recombining in the selected proportional range.

The new morphing wave cuts out the +/- cycle splitting by instead, rectifying the incoming signal so any multiplication/division of amplitude values avoids double negatives, and it becomes a lot easier to avoid momentarily hitting a 'divide by zero' situation.

Totolitoto ... cheers for the submission! ... best of luck! :)

Actually I'm not sure if mine is totally finished. When I listen it today I feel that something is missing. I notched lower frequencies (I had two stronger bars around 41Hz and 82 Hz) because somebody complained about vibrating windows during 'Winter pling' - my entry for OSC 10, but still I feel heavier bass was more pleasing. What guys do you think about using sub frequencies? Should I bring em back? Or your windows can't stand them? 8)

I think I'm gonna give it a try on a better speakers then mine to see/hear which version sounds better tho.

No probs dwsel, if you need to resubmit your track, just go ahead ... but PM me when you do so I can take out the old version :)

So, there's no magic polyphony button on this thing? It's not only a mono signal, but monophonic as well? This could take some doing. The thing sounds great in any event. (as usual, the overall piece is taking on a life of its own... ay yai yai) Yeah, love the sound.

That's a nice high number of instances, should be interesting, downloading now. :)

Not only that, but I do believe it's not even velocity sensitive either, certainly works that way here.. :? Others managed to get any expression other than using volume automation? ..Looks like this is going to be quite a challenge.. :help:

That's a really nice track, love it.

Unfortunately I didn't get the reference so won't be able to vote for it..
