Controller Keyboard Questions

Hi,
Could someone tell me if this is possible.
At the moment I have a midi keyboard for use with Mu.Lab which is attached to the computer using the midi input on my sound card. Problem is, it has no knobs or sliders.
I want to get a control surface, something like the Korg Nano Kontrol which is USB.
Can I use both in Mu.Lab at the same time?
Unfortunately I don't have the money to buy a decent 61 key keyboard with knobs etc.
Thanks
Si

Yes, you can use both with MU.LAB. But you'll have to find a way to mix the midi out of the keyboard with the midi out of the controller into the computer.
If your soundcard has 2 midi inputs, then there is no problem.
Otherwise you might need a midi merge module.

Sure, multiple USB ins, no prob.
In MU.LAB 2.7: main menu -> Edit -> MIDI Setup, there you can select up to 8 MIDI inputs
(also if the MIDI comes in via USB)
