Hello Uhbik newbie here,
I'm getting my Uhbiks intergrated into my numerology 2.2 (Five12) set-up and I'm having a little difficulty getting midi program changes to work. I also have Ace and read in its manual that to enable midi program changes you place copies of your patches in the midi programs folder. Then just send a program change number greater than one to change programs, the midi programs folder is bank 0 and subfolders start at bank 1 , when moving from the patches to the controls window I noticed that the patch had changed to the the first program in the list, but I have not gotten the program change midi generator in numerology 2.2 to function, it has worked with another soft synth "Surge", so the problem must lie with Uhbik.. Just to confirm I checked ACE and discovered that ACE seems to have the same problem.
System imac 2.3 ghz intel duo processor system 10.5.8, ! GB ram
Just bought Uhbik yesterday and aside from this one problem I believe it is an excellent set of effects.
Regards
Wade

Hi,
I'll be back to broadband from next week on, then I'll check it out.
MIDI Program Changes btw. only work with the presets being in MIDI Programs folder *before* teh host is started, and of course Program Change #0 is the first program within the folder.

Thanks Urs for the quick reply!!
I have fiddled around with the program change and have discovered the problem was that Numerology bank and program numbers start at "one" therefore creating an offset, so when I called up a program in bank "one" from Numerology, UHBIK or ACE recieved a command calling for patches in bank "zero", meanwhile I had placed the patches in a subfolder within the midi programs folder!!! I created the subfolder and moved the patches there when I was trying to solve the program change problem which in the first place was undoubtably caused by me not restarting the program after copying the patches to the midi programs folder !!! So I have to use bank "two" to call up patches from the first sub folder. Welcome to the wonderful world of midi!!
Anyway it's solved, btw the documentation on the midi programs folder is missing from the December 2009 UHBIK pdf manual.
I love all the UHBIKS!!! They just beg to be fiddled with. The stellar sound quality the interface- I'm already trying to figure out how to make a UHBIK controller..like the real ones on the computer screen!!
