Omnisphere: Load time & access to library

While there is no disputing the awesome power and variety of sounds and editing control in Omnisphere, I must admit to having extreme frustration with it's load-time, and then accessing it's library; it's so damn slow.
[yes - I'm aware it's an extensive program & library]
I have a Receptor 2, and find myself thinking twice: 'If I want to take the extra time to work with Omnisphere?'
Why should it take almost 20 seconds to load into my mixer, and then take so much time accessing it's library?
After editing, going to work on another plug-in on the same mixer - if I go back to the Omnisphere track... same thing.
Am I the only one that has a problem with this issue?

JV,
I find most of the time that the Omnisphere graphics (in Edit view) are the most bothersome part, since those can run incredibly slow at times. This is an issue that were trying to work out with Spectrasonics. In the meantime we did make 'receptorized' banks and patches available for Receptor users that speed up the patch browsing some. You can get it at the link http://www.plugorama.com/customer/produ ... ductid=632

Yup, thats the one....It won't speed up the Omnisphere GUI, but it will make browsing through omnisphere patches to find a sound a lot faster.

Should I be concerned about the fact that the directions on how to do this say "Install 4185 files", and the actual amount on mine was 4172?
It seems to work well (and faster) but...
Am I missing some?

All of the banks are in an order that is not convenient...
Is it possible to change the order, to something obvious, like alphabetical?
I have a snapshot, but don't think that I can attach it here...[/img]

Hey,
Sorry for the delay. I've been looking into a way to get those re-organized but don't have a convenient way to do it right now

Okay, can I ask you about it in a few weeks?
And lastly, what about this:
Should I be concerned about the fact that the directions on how to do this say "Install 4185 files", and the actual amount on mine was 4172?
Thanks again,
Jordan

Jayvee,
I got 4172 files out of the same download, so I think it is just a type-o, I'll notify the webmaster to have it changed
