Just wondering now that ace has had some time in the waters will there ever be an ace patch comp? I'd like a chance at some of these comps and hopefully good enough to snag zebra hehe. Anyone else in the same boat?

ACE Patch Contest I assume (like the Zebra ones). Be careful when using acronyms, particularly one which is commonly used to mean something else.

I figure it will take a poll sometime to see how many would like to see an ACE patching contest rather than a Zebra patching contest ... because Zebra has so many more modules, I think that lends itself a bit more to doing a lot of contests but it makes sense to me that 3 or 4 months of ACE (maybe over the summer [e] for northern hemispherians?) could be done, and could be a lot of fun.

I guess another question would be, how comfortable people are at patching ACE? Just as an example from my perspective, It's still young enough in my hands that, while the functionality is pretty clear, how to really use some techniques is something I'm still figuring out constantly. Maybe the quality of stuff goes up given a little more time (?).

I was just putting it out there. Didn't know there was so much to consider when putting these things together. It would be fun though just to see what people are doing with it. I mean technically there are endless possibilities with a lot of synths, other wise they wouldnt be synths ( if that makes any sense ) so people are going to discover new things all the time so no better time like the present

nope, i wasn't kidding. I really didn't know. Now I do and I agree! Bring it on. ACE is one of the best synths I've heard I swear. I can't get away from it when I open the daw. I've spent wayyyy too much time building patches lately. Even as we speak.. oops
