By the way: Do you have any background applications running?
What if you run MU.LAB + Record from a fresh OSX system startup with nothing else active?

I do have internet connection and sometimes Chrome running.
Still wish that Record could be just as stable and efficient in Rewire mode so I could use some master effects (like Redline Monitor) while mixing.
I can send you my system preferences. That way you can get all the info you need regarding my setup.

fridtjof
just as a feddback I am running Reason4 in rewire on M2.7 without a single problem from an old dell 2001 and not a single glitch.
M3 is in restricted mode and mono for Rewire so I can't say but that too is running as it is.
So far MuLab for Reason it's impeccable but I do not have Record and I am on a XP machine so not so much info for you. Just a feedback about MuLab running great in other systems or circumstances.
A PERFECT addition to Reason's limitations....
It should be packed with Propellerhead's DVD
I hope yor problems will be solved. M3 is already a pleasure.

I'm using Mu.Lab on Windows and a bit less heavy on CPU stuff but always problematic when running Chrome together with Mu.Lab.fridtjof wrote:I do have internet connection and sometimes Chrome running.
Sometimes I have crashes to blue screen and even the blue screen looks scrambled.
Better to quit Chrome while working in Mu.Lab.

Sorohanro, just for my curiosity: Is this specific to MU.LAB or does Chrome also cause difficulties for other (audio) apps?

I had the same problem with FL Studio 9.mutools wrote:Sorohanro, just for my curiosity: Is this specific to MU.LAB or does Chrome also cause difficulties for other (audio) apps?
Strangely, this happen only when using EW Symphony with their new Play plugin.
Also, if I use Chrome, close it and run EW plugin in Mu.Lab = crash.
If I use Chrome, close it and run EW plugin in FL = not crash.

I've no idea what could make the difference.
Anyway: It's always best to run audio apps as solo as possible, i.e. as few other/background apps as possible.

Ok so I tried the Ensemble in Reaktor with the strange midi legato problem. I think it might be Mulab not handling the glide midi conversion (not sure what to call it). It works in Logic, Ableton Live, RAX, AUlab, so maybe its a vst issue?
Instead of gliding or transitioning from one not to the next it just ends the first midi note. This is the Digitek ensemble which is one of my all time favorites. No idea why it doesnt work in Mulab!

A host doesn't do the gliding, it just sends notes to a synth.fridtjof wrote:Ok so I tried the Ensemble in Reaktor with the strange midi legato problem. It's the synth that applies any portamento to the pitch.
Anyway, is it possible to email me that Reaktor ensemble so i can try it out in Reaktor 5 demo on OSX?
