Hello all,
I bought this controller a few months ago and the midi interface drives me crazy.
Can anyone tell me if it's possible to change patch in a snapshot bank from a pedal switch? If yes, would you be kind enough to walk me through the configuration?
Right now I have to reach for my mouse to change patch during a gig, or reach for the receptor front panel, but this is taking way to long. Some songs require me to change sound instantly.
The manual for this controller is useless for a newbie like me.
Any input would be appreciate.
TIA

I have a VMK176 - I love the feel but it has the most annoying programming interface every - and the manual was terrible.
I have no idea how to do the complicated switching you are thinking about.
Good luck and I feel your pain - it's a great keybed with a not so great interface and way too limited midi functionality.

Hi there!
Don't get me wrong, midi aside, I love this keyboard. Love the feel and the fact that I can have a light controller 76 keys with a piano hammer feel to it. Screws are loosing up all over the place, but I still like it.
Knew not to get it for midi, I have other kb such as Korg T.E. and Novation SL that can do a much better job in the midi dept.
I don't think a switch can be assigned to bank changes on this unit. No one could actually come up with an answer.
Thanks for your input nevertheless.
