I knew this was good, but checking again, I see it really is one of the very best sounding free VSTi's.

Hi DeepFiber :)

If you search good Plugins,
simply look at my signature....

According to my definition of "Good",
almost every plug there feels well :hihi:

I noticed Hexter has not been mentioned around here for some time. Still one of the favorites in my studio.

Seems Hexter as VSTi is not available.. :?

Thx for the list 1-2-Many.

The best free synths I've heard in recent times are SQ8L and the Elektrostudio Pack. They're so good that there's need to buy any commercial virtual analogues.

Out of the vintage oldies Synth1 and Superwave P8 stand out.
Orion Platinum, Muzys 2

What the hell,
another vote for Atlantis.
Absolutely love this synth.

JBM Jagular is well worth a spot for all it's features.

Well, since other synths that aren't exactly "all purpose" have been mentioned I'd throw in:

rlma labs Pitch Black - http://www.kvraudio.com/developer_chall ... php#dc0726

Cosmic Boy IceCream - http://www.kvraudio.com/get/3974.html

nX-Sounds nX-Synth 2 - http://www.kvraudio.com/get/3580.html[/url]
