ZPC 08 voting and such

Is there any way we can get all the entries for all 8 patch contests, with the authors' names back in the patch? I'd really like to have this, and I'm just asking. I thought it might be better to ask now, rather than much later.

I just compiled a text file with all the patch -> name info. Anyone with any opinion on how they'd like the patches integrated into a single set? Seems to me I could more or less follow Howard's structure, or I could just do it by context number. Also I think I'd probably want to stick with the balanced patches just to make it a little cleaner.

I think just leave them sorted by patch competition number, since the comps are themed anyway. And I agree with just sticking with the balanced patches; there's no need for further duplication. Thanks for volunteering, BTW!

Glad you thought so mate! Important to give feedback, esp. constructive feedback. (not saying mine is the most constructive out there) - Hey, I do hope you intend to enter in the contests coming up. Your patch was very nice. As I said before I damn near voted it in to place. It was such a difficult job selecting among so many fantastic entries.

Maybe when doing the voting for ZPC-09: Padded Zebra there is a hard deadline for the end of voting added to the first post. This way people know exactly when they have. And maybe we should give people about a week. It seems like several people wanted to vote but didn't have the time, especially when the contest ends on a Monday morning.

Otherwise I think you're doing a fantastic job manging these contests. Thanks!
