News: Depending one this month sales MIcrorock could be discontinued
to allow more development time to other products. So this could be your only chance to
acquire this wacky & nifty little synth!

Nice. I like this instrument.

Thanks Mike, maybe more musicians can enjoy it now, <grin>

I just tested this out.
Is there a reason you didn't make it polyphonic?

yes to force users to play mono legato

Post

Why force users?
Why not give us a choice?
The instrument would be far more attractive if it had the option.
What guitar player only plays single notes?
Too difficult to provide poly switch?

buy it ,it sound crazy amazing!

Well it's a matter of choice, Microrock has been designed for mono lines,
there are many other plugins to make chords, and specialized audio plugins are better IMHO

Thanks for explanation.
Still it limits emulation of real playing styles with just mono as a choice.

some news, Microrock will stay for some time, a few musicians still find it interesting and bought it, thanks a lot to all of you!

Next week, I'll start the betatesting of a new synth, very different from Microrock, more like HarpTime but with new features and most of all a brand new engine for an amazing sound.

(yes Jim you can have the beta <wink>)

Happy Easter Everyone!

Happy Easter to you, Luigi, and everyone.

I liked it a lot, and was going to get it, but I get some kind of strange note cutoff whenever I switch the legato red like off. The notes don't play there fully intended sustain. I just get staccato like cutoff notes.
Tested on 2 different computers (mac), and 2 different keyboard controllers, and 4 different daws. All have the same problem. It happens with other vst-au's too though, but it happens with micro-rock the most. If the legato light is red, it doesn't happen though. Only happens on mono presets too.
Strange bug, and I have no idea yet what causes it.
Here's an mp3 example of the problem. The first measure is with the red light on, the second with it off.

If you can figure out why that happens I'll buy it.

Thanks mcnoone, I'll check that, sounds strange, <sigh>
