Of course no one says "I'm responsible for a desaster, so please donate." On the other side, the organizations like the Red Cross also care for this. But the public is more sensitive to natural desaster than to that was happens each day and on and on...

I wonder that the website of the Haiti CD (www.music-for-haiti.de) is still not in the Google index although it was set up at the 1st of february, added to google using the "addurl" and having some backlinks since then. (In fact, the sites with the back links were indexed within two or three days, so Google should know the site)

Does anyone of you have an idea what might be wrong here?

BTW you should add a link from www.music-for-haiti.com to www.music-for-haiti.de as the first is mentioned in the CD booklet, but the latter one is the website to get the CD from and the first only contains the downloads.

This is an instruction to all web searching indexers NOT to index your page.

You should remove this from your HTML META headers as a matter of urgency.

Also conside adding META Name='description' and META name='keywords' tags to properly describe the content.

Yes. Crosslinking should help those who would prefer CD to travel that route. :)

Where do you have this line from? It's nowhere in my HTML code. In my code I placed this line:

<meta name="ROBOTS" content="index, follow">

But to follow. I says nothing about the indexing of the subsequent sides.

It is there (here from the german sides):

<meta name="Description" content="Music For Haiti: CD mit Chillout-, Pop- und Ambient-Songs für die Opfer des Erdbebens in Haiti!">
<meta name="KeyWords" content="Music For Haiti,CD,Haiti,Erdbeben,Opfer,Benefiz">

I'm not the maintainer of .com and have no access to it. I already asked ArchiveOfEverything some time ago to put a back link onto the site, but he didn't.

For what it's worth there are two links to you from my site :)

Anyone else got a site, even a titchy little one? The more links the better!
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently no longer an 'elderly', now a 'senior'! Is that promotion?
