When does your problem exactly occurs ?
All buffers have to be cleared on reset. Otherwise old audiodata would be playing when activating an effect.

Ok the problem is a missing bufferclear, which makes much more sense.
I'll investigate what exactly happens.
Did you remember which effects in Effectrix suffered from that ?
