sup guys when ive been using sylenth at a friends studio i seem to have some issues when sidechaining it.. i get pops on certain parts of it. the same pop u get when u haven't faded some audio..

when replicating these sidechain settings on other synths/instruments i dont get the same pops.. messing with the adsr does minimize it but doesn't get rid of the problem entirely. also again playing with the compression settings does minimize it but its still generally there.. and it seems weird that on other synths i dont get the problem

i was wondering if i am doing something wrong?

its running in protools LE with the fxpansion vst to rtas adapter

maybe its the lack of delay compensation in LE but seems stranges it only happens on some notes and only on sylenth

sylenth is 100% dope tho apart from this, hopefully a native rtas version will be out one day?

You may get pops when your sidechain compressor doesn't react in advance of the signal. Sylenth1 can have a very fast attack (a very snappy sound), so if the compressor kicks in just a few milliseconds after the sound has started, it'll pop. Try changing the latency of the sidechain input signals and you should be fine. If that's not what you meant, please send some examples via email.
